Solana's POV

I studied him intently, my forehead creased with concern.

"You don't have to pay me, Solana," he said dismissively, focusing his attention on some documents. But I couldn't let it go.

The fact that he had spent such a large sum of money to block all news about me and Atlas made me feel guilty. It was a significant amount that I couldn't simply disregard.

Taking a deep breath, I made up my mind and spoke.

"Fine, I will work for your company," I said.

As he heard my words, he lifted his head and looked at me, clearly taken aback.

"You will work for me?" he asked, seeking confirmation.

I sighed deeply and nodded.

A smile began to grace his lips, but he quickly bit his lower lip, restraining himself from showing too much emotion.
