Chapter 95

Alton's POV

When Solana left I immediately called my secretary.

"Take all the news down related to me and my family," I said and after that, I dropped the call before driving towards Jacob's house hoping that Solana would be there.

Upon arriving their helper guided me towards the living room and there I saw Jacob, drinking his coffee alone.

I gather my courage and walked towards him.

Jacob turned his head on me and then watched me intently.

"Can I talk to Solana?" I politely asked.

Jacob stared at my face for a while before he let out a deep breath.

"Take a seat," he said so I oblige and sat across from him.

"Solana is upstairs in her room, resting," he said.

"Can I talk to her?" I asked but he firmly shook his head.

"My daughter needs time Alton. She will talk to you when she wants to," he said.

I let out a deep breath and then nod my head.

"How is she?" I asked worry evident in my tone.

I was a fool for asking that question because I knew that she isn't okay.
