Solana's POV

I left his apartment and headed back to Kris's unit.

I covered my face with a cap and face mask, hoping that reporters wouldn't notice me. But as soon as I got out of the cab, they started running towards me.

Thankfully, the guards of the condominium came to my rescue and helped me escape from the reporters.

"Thank you," I said to the guards who assisted me, and then I made my way towards Kris's unit.

When I stepped inside, I saw Kris busy on a phone call, looking stressed. As soon as she saw me, she dropped the call and walked towards me.

"Where have you been?" she asked, her eyes filled with worry.

"I talked to Alton," I replied.

Kris nodded, her gaze fixed on my face.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

I shook my head and sank onto the couch. Kris sat beside me, gently caressing my arm to calm me down.

"I called everyone I know who works at the TV station and told them to take down all news about Atlas. They said it will take a few days for the issue to die down," she said.
