CHAPTER 49

In a luxurious suite Josephine woke up to the dawn of day. She rushed into the bathroom and after taking a shower changed her clothes. She entered an elevator and it took her down.

Eleanor was already eating breakfast in the hotel's restaurant.

"Mom."

"Oh, Josephine, you're awake." Eleanor said

"The least you could do was ask me to come join you for breakfast." Josephine said

"I'm not used to bringing any of my children here, not even when you were kids I'd just ask the nanny to look after you two while I was away." Eleanor said nonchalantly

"You sound like a bad mom." Josephine said

"Mind your words Josephine." Eleanor said

"Well I'm just stating the obvious, I mean you here you are acting like a complete different person. Like you're all single with no daughters wait do you even acknowledge the fact that you're married? Where's your wedding ring? Don't tell me you're cheating on dad?" Josephine asked in one go.
