Why Now?

As they rode further, she noticed a bunch of giant trees huddled together in a distance blocking off the view beyond them. Curiosity nipped at the base of her spine. Thankfully, Nik nudged the horse in their direction. She had thought of many possibilities but not what actually was there. The scene looked straight out of some fairy-tale.

A stream trickling down the large rocks and falling into a pond just as beautiful. Colorful flowers were floating on the moving surface adding to its beauty. There was a small wooden bridge arching over the pond, connecting the both sides. A herd of swans swimming across the pond. The sweet chirpings of birds echoed. Butterflies were jumping freely from blooms to blooms, each more beautiful than the other. She was never going to forget this beautiful sight. A heaven was set beyond those trees.
