Chapter 55

Charles POV

I just kept on smiling at Aria’s attitude. I found it strangely appealing at her obstinance. It was cute, especially from those blue eyes.

I stomped my shoe on the entrance of my house, beating the caked snow out of them before getting inside. I wouldn’t say I miss my home, staying with Aria was more better.

The warmth from the house engulfed me as I shut the door behind me. Rushing to the bathroom to get my stiffened hands into the hot water if not hot, but warm.

It hasn’t been so obvious that I was dying of cold inside of me. Maybe Aria’s presence eased up everything. I dug my hands into the hot water gushing out of the steel tap.

The night has never felt so cold until last night. If care is not taken I would get anaemia and if I was human, I would die the next day because of Chicago winter season. But I was werewolf, I could just transformed to my wolf and heal me faster or make me better.
