Charles POV

Heavy growls escaped from my chest. It was beyond my control as I fought my wolf to stay calm.

I hadn’t been in my right mind since I heard her cry all through the night. Where have I been all these while? My mate was close and I barely knew. Yeah, right I had been following Kate around and here is the outcome.

Gosh, the anger inside of me was fuming so hot. If it’d been electricity it would have caught up in a roaring fire a long time ago.
