Chapter 53

Aria POV

The morning sun shone brightly into my shrinking eyes. I could barely dilate them. It wasn’t because of the sunlight, it wasn’t because I was not on my glasses either. It was none of the above, and I knew what was he cause. The soak papers dropping from my body to the ground.

I hadn’t know how I fell asleep, but I knew last night wasn’t an easy night. Only one thing can keep me insane now, and that was going to the library. Reading or getting fond of a new book, would be the best remedy to my sicken heart, I thought.

If sage was here, she would have lashed out so many words to me, words that explain how lazy and perhaps messed up I can be sometimes.

But I love if when she did, it felt I was not alone and I had someone by my side. Now it was different, the silence and everything reminds me of Sage. And most especially it reminds me of how lonely I was now. Oh hold on a sec, where is Sage? Has she really forgotten me and abandoned me?
