Aurora’s POV

As the weeks passed, the undeniable evidence of my pregnancy became more apparent with each passing day. My once-flat stomach began to swell, a subtle curve forming beneath my clothing that hinted at the new life growing within me.

Despite my apprehensions, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and awe at the miracle taking place inside my body.

With each fluttering movement, each gentle kick, I felt a deep connection to the tiny life growing inside me, a bond that seemed to strengthen with each passing moment. The emotions I feel are overwhelming and even though I get to share them with Eva, she is still quiet.

But along with the joy and anticipation came a nagging sense of fear and uncertainty. I knew that my pregnancy made me vulnerable, that I was no longer just responsible for myself but for the life growing inside me as well.

And as my belly continued to swell, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched, that someone – perhaps Lucas – was waiting
