Third Person POV

Lilian sat on the edge of her bed, the room still reeling from the emotional storm that had just passed. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying, her body wrapped in the sheets that had witnessed the chaos. She felt hollow, her mind a swirl of confusion and heartache.

The door creaked open, and Aurora stepped in quietly, her expression filled with concern. She crossed the room in a few quick strides and wrapped her arms around Lilian, holding her tightly.

Lilian stiffened at first, then melted into the embrace, the dam of her emotions breaking once more.

Aurora stroked her hair gently. "Lilian, I'm here.

It's okay. Let it all out."

Lilian clung to Aurora, her sobs coming hard and fast. "I felt it, Aurora. I felt the bond. We're truly mates, and I think I already like him. I feel like I can't live without him. But now he's mad

to me, and it hurts so much."
