Chapter one hundred & nineteen

Aimea opened the door, her eyes lighting up when she saw her son. "Darell!" she exclaimed, pulling him into a warm embrace. "It's been too long since we've had a chance to talk."

Darell hugged her back, feeling a mix of emotions. He loved his mother deeply, but he knew that the conversation they were about to have would be difficult.
