Chapter one hundred & twenty

Darell stormed out of the meeting with his mother and the pack elders, his mind racing with anger and frustration. He couldn't believe that Aimea was using Bella's happiness as a bargaining chip to control his love life. It was unfair and unjust, and Darell knew that he had to stand up for what he believed in.

As he walked back to his home, his mind was consumed with thoughts of his mother's ultimatum. How could she ask him to break up with Marcelyn, the love of his life, just to appease her own fears and prejudices? It was a betrayal, and Darell was seething with anger.

When he finally arrived at his home, Marcelyn was waiting for him. She could see the anger in his eyes and knew that something was wrong.

"What happened?" she asked, concern etched on her face.

Darell sighed heavily. "It's my mother," he said, his voice heavy with emotion. "She's refusing to let Bella marry Sam because of their rivalry with his pack. And she's giving me an ultimatum, to break up with you and marry som
