J's POV

It was finally the day of our mating ceremony. According to what Lance told me, this was a common ritual practiced in the pack and it had to be done officially to declare us both as husband and wife.

It still feels like a dream sometimes when I think about all that has happened in the past so far. After all we'd gone through, the challenges and the issues that we had to both fight to get here. This was an answer to all of our prayers.

"You look so beautiful ma'am." The maid who had helped me get ready for the mating ceremony said to me the moment I was all set and ready to leave for the event.
