I closed the door and rested on it. My thoughts were filled with all that Mr. Lance had just said. Oh God!

“Are you okay, J?” Anna asked and I snapped my eyes to look at her,

“Hehe, I'm fine, I'm good,” I replied before heading towards the bathroom.

“I thought you won't come back till midnight,” She said and I smiled because that was the plan. I planned to go straight to the club after the visit to the hospital, except that someone had come to pick me up, not asking where I was going next, he dropped me there.

“I just needed to freshen up first,” I replied before entering the bathroom.

After freshening up, I made my way out of the house and went to the club

“Red, did you visit the girls?” Boss Austin asked. He was standing with some other ladies whom I didn't know.

“Huh, yes,” I answered, “Who are they?”

“The new dancers. We can't wait for them to recover, the business waits for no one,” he replied and I nodded.
