Clarissa POV

My day at the office was well spent, and it's finally time to go home.

"Do you mind if I drop you off?" I raise my gaze to find him standing inside my office and staring at me with a questioning expression on his face.

"No, don't worry. I will just take a cab home," I quickly turn down his offer, and he slowly nods his head as he stares at me for seconds.

"Alright. See you tomorrow then," He utters before he strides out of the office, not sparing me another glance. I just feel like going home by myself today. It has been a while since I last went home alone, and I think I want to give it a try today.

I finally round up for the day and leave the office to go home. Strolling on the road and getting fresh air is so much fun, and I reached the bus stop before I know it.
