Chapter 31Clarissa POV "Why didn't you tell me you were leaving the office, Clarissa? I was worried about you," Miguel asks as he holds my hands, but I just sigh briefly. Chapter 32Clarissa POVMy day was spent horribly since I couldn't even concentrate at work. Chapter 33Clarissa POV Next dayWaking up this morning with my body aching as if I was ganged beaten in my sleep, I groan tiredly as I toss on the bed. I try to stand up from the bed, but I feel my body paralyzed for seconds, so I just lay on the bed and stare at the ceiling.Memories of yesterday night came flooding my mind, and I feel my heart wrenches as fear grips me.
