Chapter Fifty Three

As she drew the iron closer to my face, I shut my eyes ready to accept my fate... Is this how I'm gonna lose my face, I will probably be ugly and Jake will have more reasons to hate me. I was quivering in fear, I might not even survive the pain of the hurt iron on my face.

"Stop mum!" I heard the familiar voice that always sends sweetness to my body.
