Magic is delicate, contrary to popular belief. Magic is a part of the soul for those born with it, it’s a part of that persons’ life force so if the magic was to be used too much it can drain that persons’ life force which is very dangerous. Nina knew the dangers of losing too much magic, the results usually vary depending on how much magic an individual has in their soul, of course. So when Nina observed Sara struggling to breathe and stay awake she knew that Sara was wearing herself extremely thin. Sara had been using her magic to create potions for many of the thousands of Werewolves going to war to help them became resistant to magic. Sara has been working tirelessly for days and Nina can see it has taken its toll on her.
