Chapter Thirty-Eight

A white curtain brushed softly against my cheek as I starred out the window watching the gentle wind blow through the trees just outside. I sighed with annoyance. I knew I was in a dream, I don't know how but I knew that this place wasn't real. It was too calm, too surreal, too foggy, to be anything but a dream. All I could do was watch the trees from this window inside this fake nursery room. Whatever this room, this place, was I knew it was made of magic because I couldn't leave. There was no door to this room. All there was in this room was a crib, a rocking chair, an empty bookshelf, a simple grey rug on the wooden floors and this window draped with white curtains. The walls were a mint green, the blankets in the crib were a sunshine yellow with a simple brown teddy bear and a fluffy white cushion. Nothing changed.
