A week later, The Alpha woke up but was still weak from the poison that had spread throughout his entire body. His left eye was now permanently blind due to being destroyed by the poison. He could have lost his life but Kiona was there to save him with her magic.

He struggled to sit up on his recovery bed while Kiona fed him some potion that he grimaced immediately after each spoon left his mouth. The door to the room barged open and Howard who was now looking better stomped in while holding a letter with a royal seal on it. The Alpha was inviting him to a council meeting. He had waged a war against the king of another race without the knowledge and consent of his king. His crimes were much more than treason as he had also threatened the safety of his pack by breaking the seal on Decanal which made her succumb to blood lust, killing more than fifty wolves in the process. It was only normal if the Alpha king summoned him.
