“ Please wake up Princess,” Howard said with a broken tone. He looked like he attempted to knock on the gates of hell but survived. His beard had grown out since he refused to shave for the past few weeks Diana had been in a coma. He refused to move from one spot, he looked like shit and felt like shit too.

He knew it was his fault that she was in that condition but he doesn't blame himself a bit. He knew when she woke up, she would be fully his and that made him oddly satisfied. But what bothered him was the purplish color the bruise was spotting, instead of turning to a beautiful mark that would carry his initials and stay majestically on her neck, it looked like an infected bite mark. Even with all the medications the pack hospital already administered to her, the wound refused to heal and it just stood there like an ugly curse mark. The almost invisible golden rune on her neck was gone too.

“ You should at least take a bath, you stink” Brittany cleared her throat as s
