Diana couldn't stop her tears as she stared at Darryl's retreating figure. She didn't want him to go, she wanted to be with him longer but they would only notice her absence in the pack if she stayed too long at the mansion so he had brought her back to the pack lands and left with a series of kisses on her entire faces so wouldn't miss him so much.

He stopped abruptly before turning around once again, he was in front of her placing another one of his last kisses on her lips. She sniffled and wiped her tears with the hand of his sleeves.

“ Ah, I almost forgot. My mate is too distracting” He joked and she smiled at him waiting for what he had to say. He brought his left hand to his mouth, his fangs were out already and his eyes switched to the normal haunting red that Diana was used to seeing in her dream. He bit down on his hand which started bleeding and offered it to her mouth.
