Howard cussed out loudly immediately he shifted to his human form. He had watched the process in his head but his wolf was in control of everything. He didn't expect her to fight his mark, the wound wasn't healing as more blood gushed out of the wound. He quickly carried with bothering to wear his clothes back as he headed to the direction of the pack hospital.

The Alpha had given him an ultimatum a day before. He asked him to mark Diana within two days or he would have her mated to another willing person. He doesn't want her to end up with another man, seeing her with another man might break him so he makes a selfish decision to mark her against her will even though he promised to wait till she is ready.
