Chapter 7

Jackson's POV

"That fucking fucktard is dead," I hollered angrily as I gazed at the small church where our wedding would take place.

My Luna's loving father can now build his own cathedral with the money I gave him. But the cunning old man preferred a dilapidated church that appeared to have been abandoned for decades, nestled in the remote San Vicente area. The small, old church is almost completely demolished. The cross at the top of the roof was tilt.

Some letters of the parish's name have also been removed. Tall grasses and piles of old church equipment surround the area. It's old, and no one else is obviously using it.

What did that old man think, and why did he choose this location for his daughter's wedding? Is he  trying to be sarcastic to me? He succeeded in making me angry because I wanted to twist his neck with the rage I'm feeling right now.

I was flabbergasted. What I do know is that every parent wants to plan a lavish wedding for their child. I simply shook my head. Who am I to judge? My father didn't even show up to my wedding.

Some parents simply do not love their children.

"This church is ruined," Jacob remarked, disgusted. His gaze darted around the room.

"Ruined? This is fucking garbage!" I grumbled. My wolf desires to strike and seize control. I took extra precautions to avoid changing form.

Luna does not deserve to be treated like this. I spent a lot of money to give her a fancy wedding. Not in this fucking place, not like this. Oh, Goddess... I simply clenched my fist and closed my eyes tightly. My eyes are changing color as a result of my frustration and anger.

Gerard Jacinto is a cunning, self-serving dimwit. I should not have relied on him to handle all of the preparations. I might have crushed that asshole's face if it hadn't been for Klaire. My fingers want to dig my sharp nails into Gerald Jacinto's face. What a demeaning, low-class human.

If we are of the same kind, I can kill him for blasphemy and no one will question it, but that is not the law of men. They don't recognize me as the leader of one of the most powerful packs. They're didn't aware of our race.

"If you want, Alpha, I can kill him," Jacob said.

I replied with a gentle shake of my head. I, too, want to kill him, but he's the father of my Luna. That was enough to save his life. I also don't want Klaire to despise me if I murder her blasphemous father.

We entered the church to avoid becoming overwhelmed by everything we saw.

They walked into the church. He controlled himself so as not to lose sight of what he was seeing. The inside of the church is in even worse shape. Rainwater drips from the rotten and dilapidated ceiling.

As if the red carpet in the middle of the hall wasn't enough, flowers were placed in each pew as they passed. They didn't make the situation any better.
