Next morning, the first thing Amelia did after she woke up was jump off the bed and rush towards the window.

She just had the best sleep ever and she wanted to share her joy with Darren.

She reached out her arms to pull open the curtain with this big smile on her face. The morning daylight spread into the room following her motion. It brightened everything, including her emotion.

She pushed open the window with overloaded ecstasy of finding her true mate, then looked down into the alley. She was expecting to see Darren there smiling and wagging his tail, but sadly there was nothing.

Nobody was in the alley, nor did any wolf.

“He must be waiting at the front door.” She thought, feeling a little down but not disappointed.

She quickly went into the bathroom to refresh herself, and then changed into her best clothes and put on her make-up. The make-up she wore yesterday was helped by Carlie. It had been forever since the last time she did her own make-up.
