Chapter 22

In the central building of Wolf Committee, Darren hesitated, standing behind the front gate of the lobby.

He came to the meeting alone but shredded his clothes when he shifted. If he left the building now, he would have to walk on the street in his wolf form. Normally, it wouldn’t be a problem since most humans in the city could never tell the difference between wolves and dogs, but he is an Alpha, and the only one he could tolerate looking down at him and treating him as a dog was his mate, Amelia.

To walk between human legs was unquestionable humiliation. Darren stopped his steps involuntarily and started wondering. Roland was currently too far from him to mind-link. It was impossible to ask him to bring clothes here. But to walk on the street alone in his wolf form…

After hesitating for a while, right before he decided to take the chance and run back to his packmates, a girl in a blue suit suddenly appeared from behind a door at his right side.

She wore a pair of dazzling purple hi
