Xavier’s POV

‘Mate.’ I told Maddox. The most beautiful wolf I have ever seen in my life stands in front of me. She had red fur and green eyes. My mate is red, the rarest color of any wolf. Combined with her green eyes, her appearance truly is unique. Eyes that are staring at me right now, eyes that look like they are starting straight into my soul. Which she already owns.

I walked up to her and rubbed my face against her neck. She does the same to me. “She wants us,” I tell my human. I was so happy that I shouted to Maddox, “She will not reject us.”

I wish I could mind link her, but I can’t until she is officially mine, I can’t. She needs to be mated and marked to be mine and if Maddox is really lucky, she will mark him. “she doesn’t know our ways” Maddox reminds me. “I am more than happy to educate her.” I respond adamantly. “Behave Xavier” he says just before I block him out. Right now, she is my mate. I am not having him ruin my time with her.
