Millie’s POV

“Come on Hudson, let’s talk inside,” I told the Alpha. I believe we need to talk. I also think Caren wants to show off her gifts without her overprotective mother watching. There's nothing I can do about it. Her safety will always be my concern.

I also think that if Maddox were Lottie’s mate, then I am sure she would not want her parents to see what they get up to. I don’t even want to think of my baby girl mating with anyone and I can’t imagine how Alpha Hudson is feeling.

I get us both a drink of water and look at him and am sure he has questions for me. “What happened?” he asks me.
