“See you…whenever,” I waved at Geri with a smile.

He rolled his eyes and gave me a three-finger salute, before driving off, back to the Red Moon Pack. I was worried about him, but I knew that I cannot force him to leave Star behind.

“So, where's the location now?” Morgan asked in his deep, gruff voice.

“River Bed. That’s the safest place to lay low for now. It's one of the Packs that majored in commercial rather than brood, so It’s the perfect place to hide for now before we think of another plan,” I explained.

“Good call. Well, I can find you when I want. I wish you both the best of luck. Don’t get caught,” Morgan smiled.

“Wait, what? You’re not coming with us?” Martha frowned, mirroring the same feelings I had.

“Unfortunately, I can’t.”

“Why not? Isn’t it dangerous to go back to where you came from? Why don’t you just follow us and hide until the heat dies down?” She insisted.
