Vivianne was really annoyed by this, but she could not offend the chief physician.

When David came up excitedly to Vivianne, he saw Frederick standing beside her.

Frederick was dressed from head to toe in cheap clothing, and it put David on his guard immediately. This was the first time he had seen Vivianne with a young man. "Is this your driver, Vivianne?"

She hurriedly explained, "This is Mr. York. He's a miracle doctor, and I invited him here to help me have a look at the patients' condition."

When he heard this, the hostility in David's eyes grew stronger. "A miracle doctor, huh? Which medical university did this miracle doctor graduate from, and which hospital is he working in?"

Vivianne had obviously detected the animosity in David's voice. She was the one who had invited Frederick here, and naturally, she would not make things awkward for him.

"Mr. York is a doctor who specializes in alternative medicine. He doesn't usually practice medicine, and spends his days in seclusion."
