Octavia’s POV

“Someone want to tell me why I have to be here.” Mira asks when we get into Ray’s office.

I shrug, I have no idea why we are all here. I mean I know they need to make a decision about when Uhtred will take over the family throne but I don’t see why we need to be here for it.

“Because your mother has asked you all to be here, that’s why.” My dad says, I can sense tension coming off him, something isn’t right.

I look to Uhtred and he too has an uneasy expression on his face.

Mum walks in and gestures for us all to sit down.

“What’s going on ma.” Uhtred asks sitting down next to me and Quinn.

“Your father and I have an announcement to make, and before you all freak out you need to know this is something we need to do and there will be no arguments on the matter.” She says sternly and we all look at each other, the tension is growing thick in the air.
