Octavia’s POV It’s been twenty four hours since my parents left on their suicide mission and I miss them already, but tonight is the first full moon with our Pack and since Troy and I are now Alpha and Luna we have to lead our people for the run so we are sitting in our new office planning everything, where we will run and what announcements need to be addressed and of course the feast for the newly Mated wolves after the run. It is a special night for us shifters because it means we can find our soulmate and it will be especially magical tonight because this will be the biggest run in the history of our Packs here in New Zealand. Troy’s POV I farewell all the couples and remaining pack members and head inside to check on Faith and the kids, after Octavia left I found her in monkeys nursery crying with the kids. She told me how devastated she was that Uhtred wasn’t her Mate and how hurt she felt when Zane basically rejected her because of it, saying he couldn’t do that to Uhtred, so she ran back here to hold her daughter. Troy’s POV I can’t believe it actually worked, I mean I know it can because I’ve seen it in the prophecy but it was my own reflection I saw with red eyes not Zane’s, I wonder how many more people Octavia will turn and if they have to die in order for the transition to work. I have heard of people getting a second chance at a fated Mate but I have never met anyone that has, so I wouldn’t know what they have to do to get it. “I hope so, both of them deserve to be happy. But I have this sneaking suspicion that Uhtred’s Mate is in Mann.”
