Octavia’s POV

“Hey ma, how are you and dad.” I ask through the phone.

“We are fine sweetheart, we found a Pack in Adelaide that took us in for the full moon run.” Mum says.

“That’s great, have you found Alpha Damon’s Pack yet.” I ask.

I thought I would start with small talk before I broke the news to them.

“Not yet, we are gathering information from other Packs around the area, he moved from where Ragnar last saw him in Melbourne.” She explains.

“Well he would be stupid to stay in the same place after what he did.” I snarl.

“Could you pick up his scent or anything.” I add.

“No it’s as if they were never there, they are good at covering their tracks, or maybe they have a witch on their side, we will keep digging. So how was your first run as Luna.” Mum asks changing subject.

Uhtred walks into my office and I bite my lip, I guess I better get this over and done with.

“It was great, the connection with the Pack was incredible.” I say and gesture Uhtred to come say hello but he s
