JEWEL'S POV
"Your sister is awake and she's asking to see you." The doctor announced and immediately, I was up on my feet.
"Where? Take me to where she is immediately." I told the doctor who nodded and led the way. I looked at Henry who had stood up too.
"Will you like to come with me?" I asked him and he shrugged.
"I'm not Pearl's biggest fan but it wouldn't hurt to see how she's actually doing. I'd just check in and then I'd wait for you outside." He said and I nodded. That was fair enough. At least Pearl would see that Henry had a good heart and meant well.

HENRY'S POVThe beeping sound pulled me out of the silent comfort of sleep. I opened my eyes slowly, reaching out for the source of disturbance coming from the bed side table. It was Jewel's small digital clock that was sounding an alarm. I dismissed it by pushing a button then going back to lie still on the bed, my eyes adjusting to the dim lit room.I looked beside me and saw Jewel was still very much fast asleep, partially covered underneath the sheets of the bed, wearing absolutely nothing. I dashed into the police station and went straight to the interrogation room where they were definitely questioning Selene, ignoring the calls of the police men that stood by the reception table. I got to the interrogation room and met Henry, with the DPO and Selene handcuffed. Henry looked at me in awe. "What are you doing here?" He asked me. "She still hasn't confessed." He chipped in, pointing to Selene who just sat motionless in the chair, her eyes blood shot from so much crying. I began to feel pity for her. "That's because she didn't do it."
