JEWEL'S POV

I dashed in to the hospital with Henry hot on my tail. My mind was in turmoil and I didn't know what to think. Immediately the call dropped, all my senses heightened. I had tried calling my sister's number again but she didn't pick it and that made me even more scared than I already was.

Henry became worried as I had become even more frantic. I kept calling the number again and this time, it was Lyla that had picked up the call. The little girl was crying and had told me that her daddy had beaten up her mummy, before leaving the house in anger, leaving her mummy bleeding on the floor.
