Chapter 20

JEWEL'S POV

I stirred, waking up slowly to a dim lit room. I opened my eyes wider, realizing that the curtains were drawn down which prevented the ray of light from penetrating into the room. I was grateful for that because it woulda have added to the very bad headache I was feeling at the moment.

Gosh! What happened last night? I asked myself.

Groaning, I got down from the bed. The air was cold from the air conditioning and everywhere was silent. I resolved that the headache was from too much crying last night as the last thing I remembered was seeing Tayo kiss that lady. 

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

As I walked over to the bathroom to brush my teeth, I realized that seeing Tayo yesterday with that lady was just another sign from God telling me to break things off with the asshole. The relationship itself was more
