Chapter - 5

Amara P.O.V

Stepping out of the car, I quiver at the sudden night breeze that swept by me. We wait for a moment when the back entrance doors to the club opens and a man who would probably be working for Zale invites us in.

“So, once we are positive with the pen-drive, we immediately vacate. No drama!” Zale revises.

Nodding their heads, Albert and Jackson mingle into the club and I am once again left alone with him.

“I am counting on you, kitten. Do not fuck it up!” he warns.

With a nod, I sprint away in search of our target, Mr. George Wang.

Walking around for a few minutes now, I spot George at the bar with a few ladies swooning over him.

He looks exactly as discussed. In his fifties, grey hair, muscular body still got that body fit, looking wicked.

As I take in a breath, I hear his raspy voice through my earpiece which was covered by my flowy long locks.

“You found the target!” he says.

In the meeting this noon, we decided each of our roles. Zale guides us looking at us through CCTVs, I seduce him, Jackson helps me and Albert looks out for Geroge’s guards.

Swaying my hips, clicking my heels on the wooden floor, I walk to the bar where George is currently residing.

As I settle down, I instantly feel Geroge's drooling gaze.

“Such a pretty young lady!” he mumbles, sliding towards me.

“George Wang” he offers his hand.

“Amara” I slid mine into his.

Once done with caressing, he pulls my hand towards his face placing a smooch on my knuckles.

“Beautiful name for a beautiful lady!” his stare not wavering from my breasts.

Freak!

“Why don’t you let me buy you a drink?” he signs to the bartender who prepares my drink in a moment.

I stare down at the glass placed right infront of me.

“Do.not.touch.that!” Zale’s voice booms through the earpiece, almost startling me.

‘Tip – 1, he likes challenging girls!’ I recollect.

“I am well equipped to buy myself one, moreover I don’t accept drinks from strangers” I shove his drink away.

“Whiskey on the rocks!” I order for myself.

“I like that attitude, little girl!” his hand on my thigh groping it.

That unwanted touch destabilises my brain, as few blurred memories rush infront of my eyes. My breaths shallow as I try to take in as much oxygen as possible.

“It’s just a touch, Amara. Calm down!” Zale assures.

“Your drink, mam!” the bartender’s voice snaps me back.

Grabbing it, I gulp the throat-burning liquid in one go.

“In a hurry, I see!” he grins.

“The music’s too loud!” I complain rubbing my hand on his thighs too close to his centre.

His mouth falls open at my teasing.

“I know a place which is quiet” he offers.

He leads me upstairs to what I assume as a VIP room.

“It’s extremely quiet!” I mutter to myself.

“Don’t worry, baby. Soon your moans and screams gonna fill it up!” he sneers.

Removing his blazer off, he tosses it on the floor. With slow strides he paces towards me. Baffled, I turned around, facing away from him.

“Don’t tell me you are shy now after all that seducing back down there!” his hands snakes around my waist.

“I just need some alcohol in my system” I grab a glass from the table beside me.

“Mmmm!” he hums, pushing my hair towards the other side, trying to place a few kisses on my shoulder.

Only then I realise about the earpiece, now that hair is out of the way, it should be clearly visible.

“Wait---” I turned around with a jolt, making the alcohol in my hand drop all over his shirt.

My eyes widened.

“I am so sorry!” I try to wipe it off.

“It’s okay! Let me go, wash it off!” he says and disappears into the bathroom.

I stand rooted to the ground oblivious of my next move.

“It’s the right time, go search for the pen-drive!” Zale orders.

I hastily start searching in every corner of the room. The cupboards, the drawers, under the bed, under the carpets. Every single place.

“I can’t find it” I sigh in defeat.

“The blazer, Amara!” Zale guides.

Running towards the abandoned blazer, I check its pockets.

“Found it!” I show it to the camera set up in the room.

“I am done, baby!” he announces from the bathroom.

There is no way I can escape with this pen-drive before George comes out. I need to think fast.

“Jackson, stand right outside of the door” I say.

“I am here!”.

As soon as I hear his confirmation, I sling the pen-drive through the narrow gap underneath the door.

“Got it!” and the door to the bathroom opens with a click.

“What are you doing on the floor?” he questions.

“I slipped” I lie, getting up on my feet.

“I just received a call that I need to be somewhere. Sorry but I need to leave!” I try to make a run for the door when he grabs my arms, halting me.

“Not so fast, baby!” he shakes his head negatively.

“I need to leave. Let go of me!” I struggle.

“Not before I have a taste” he drags me and pushes me onto the bed.

I immediately move back in fear.

Grabbing my ankle, he pulls me towards him and hovers over me. Using all my strength I try to shove him away but he just won’t budge.

“Amara, use the damn knife! Defend yourself!” Zale yells through the ear piece.

I wanted to defend myself too. Take the knife out my thigh strap and hurt him so that I can run away but everything around me starts to blur.

“NO, please!!!” I shout.

His wicked laugh, his hands trying to roam all over my body, trying to touch me in every unpleasant way possible, made me numb.

The similar panic attack from downstairs started to consume me. A series of screams and cries echoes through my ears. My cheeks moisten up with tears.

I feel my consciousness slipping away from me second my second. Just when I thought this is it for me, a gunshot fires in the room.

I see a blurred Zale hurrying towards me.

“Amara, wake up” he shakes me.

“Zale!” my voice barely a whisper.

“Open your eyes!” is the last thing I heard before the darkness completely engulfs me.
