Wilma's face looked really shocked when she realized what kind of help I meant.

"M-miss Chrissy, I don't want to lose my job. Sir Teejay will surely fire me!" she said in a trembling voice.

"Just tell him you couldn't stop me from leaving," I told her as I walked hurriedly to go to the living room.

She was walking behind me and I didn't have to turn to know that she was very panicky.

"Please Miss Chrissy don't go, please," she begged me.

I felt a little guilty but deep inside, I really wanted to escape from not only Trevor but from the whole situation. It was a chaos. If I didn't leave now I was afraid that I would go crazy like Lolla and my chauvinistic ex. I peeked from behind the wall which was dividing the living room and dining room. When I saw that it was clear, I ran to the open entrance door. I could hear Wilma trying to stop me by calling my name in a quiet voice but I ignored her. Finally I reached the garage. My heart was thumping but I didn't have any plan of going back in
