Chapter 30

His hand on me was too tight and I could almost feel that my wrist was starting to be numb. Now I was regretful that I jumped into conclusions when Wilma told me about Lolla. I should have talked to him first instead of trying to escape him. I had to do something so his anger would at least be less.

"H-honey..." I uttered but he ignored her.

He pulled me inside the bedroom and locked the door. He rested my back on the door his left hand above my head. He raised my chin as he glowered at me. He was breathing raggedly.

I called him again by his endearment to me but his expression didn't change. His eyes were steely and his nostrils were flaring.

"Didn't I tell you to stay in the dining room?! And who told you that you can ran away like that? Who?!" he hissed as he pressed himself to me.

I gathered all the courage I had so I could at least justify what I did.

"I was angry! I thought you and Lolla...."I shut my eyes when he released my chin for a second but only to hit the door behind me
