Schuyler's P. O. V.

Ezekiel looked away from me and I had to sigh deeply before slightly pushing him away. He didn't do anything and just let me get away from him.

I picked up the paper bag I brought with me. Coming here was a mistake. I shouldn't have run to him after what happened. Why did I even do that?

I could feel my tears forming in my eyes when Ezekiel was about to face me and I immediately turned around so he could not see me.

"I-I'll go back to your house now," I bit my lip after saying that.

How foolish of me to think that Ezekiel is someone I can run to and bring comfort to me. I was wrong! He only wanted me for himself just so he could have an heir. That's probably the reason why he was mad at Georgi. Of course, we have a contract and he clearly wouldn't want to care for someone's child.
