Schuyler's P. O. V.

Ezekiel slowly kneeled on the floor and he collected my heels before he started to walk towards me. His eyes were narrowing on me as he came closer before he kneeled on the floor and touched my foot, but I stepped away from him.

Ezekiel lowered his head and was only staring at my feet, while I'm crying and watching him.

"I thought telling you everything I feel would make you open up to me, but what did you do instead? You want me to go away and leave you! Is that your best thing to do?" I started crying harder because I was having a hard time again catching my breathing. "Ezekiel, it's so hard for me to say anything to you because I know that you never love me and you probably still don't—"

"Don't say that, don't you ever fucking say that." He said in a small voice, but I heard him clearly. "You don't know what I'm feeling right now for you to say that."
