The Condition

Eva’s POV

After dinner, I just walked back to my room feeling angry.

How could he say something about my relationship with Ben in front of Mom? I was literally shocked to see that. I wanted to give him a response. However, I could not say anything there at that moment in front of Mom, and thinking that, I stayed silent and ignored Mark during dinner.

Now, I’m rolling on the bed, feeling pissed off at him. I know things are upset between us, but he can not bring stuff as he wants.

I don’t know how late it’s turned out to think all this, but when I watched the wall clock, it almost turned 1 am. Finally, I felt tired of thinking too much and eventually walked out of my room to get water for myself. However, I did not expect Mark to be there as soon as I turned on the kitchen light.

It reminded me of today’s incident once again, and I instantly thought to ignore his presence. I’ll just get my water and leave.

He noticed me walking toward the refrigerator and getting the water bottle f
