“Good morning, Lady Zara!” Beatrice exclaimed, panting hard when she got to the receptionist's table.“Take it easy, dear,” Lady Zara tried to calm her down while she typed on the keyboard and stared at the computer screen.“I'm late,” Beatrice breathed out, still trying to catch her breath.It was all that silly Mia's fault. Beatrice entered the office, with the two cups of coffee in her hands. She didn't know how Santiago would like his coffee, so, she just made it the same way Ben likes his coffee.She walked closer to them, seeing the two men in a deep conversation, Beatrice coughed slightly to get their attention.“Your coffee, Sirs,” Beatrice notified, giving Ben his coffee and then Santiago his coffee too.Ben grabbed the handle of the cup and brought the cup close to his mouth and sipped the coffee while he openly stared at Santiago.Santiago brought the cup to his lips and drank out of the coffee. “Hmm! “Mum?” Ben muttered, staring at his mum, who was beaming happily at him.'What the hell is she doing here?' After collecting the important files from each department, Beatrice opened the door to the office, fatigue creasing her face, then her gaze fell on Ben who placed his head on the table.'Is he sleeping?' Her thoughts outstripped her while she traipsed her way to her desk.Beatrice dropped the files on the table, then turned her face back to Ben, and she found herself moving closer to him.Her eyes glistened at him when she was close to his seat. Ben was taking a quick nap, resting his head on one of his arms he straightened on the table.His gray suit was hanging around his swiveled seat, leaving him in the blue shirt he wore.Beatrice's smile was linked with a sigh as she stared, then she leaned closer to him and studied his face. “Aah!” Beatrice yawned for the sixth time, and tap her left palm continuously over her mouth. She blinked her eyes severally just to drive away sleep.She leaned closer to her table, sorting out the important files that Ben will sign first thing in the morning.Her eyes darted to her wristwatch on her left hand and saw that it was past six, almost close to seven in a few minutes.“Goodness, I need an energy drink,” Beatrice muttered to herself, her eyelids felt so heavy, but she still stubbornly widens her eyes and stared at the black text on the white paper, closing the dark blue file she just checked through before she placed it among the less significant files, then she grabbed the black file which was the next.Beatrice yawned again, making it the seventh time, and she turned her head over to Ben's side to check if he was still there, but he wasn't.'Maybe he left already,' Beatrice thought wearily, staring at Ben's empty seat.'But how come did he leave, and I didn't notice?' Ben parked his car in front of an exquisite skyscraper where Beatrice rented her penthouse apartment.“This is where you live?” Ben asked, quite impressed, staring at the building through his window while Beatrice unbuckled her seatbelt.“Yeah,” She breathed out and grabbed her handbag and Ben turned his face to her side staring at her, his eyes gleaming with admiration for her.She unlocked the door and was about to get out of his car, but she stopped suddenly and turned her face to Ben, who was still staring at her, a hearty smile curling its way up her lips, their eyes met and Beatrice inhaled sharply.“Thank you,” She muttered and Ben nodded at her, a warm smile plastered on his lips, then they stared at each other for a while, the both of them drowning in their alluring gazes.Ben's eyes flickered down to her lips, and he found himself leaning closer to Beatrice, who held her breath and watched as he got closer to her.Ben darted his eyes back to Beatrice's eyes, seeking permissi

After the meeting ended with the Domino limited company, Beatrice began walking towards the elevator when her smartphone rang on the files she was holding in her arms.She stared at the caller ID and realized it was the housing agent who linked her in renting her current penthouse apartment.'Why is he calling?'
