Elina
Cassie and I are at lunch sans Iris; I’m sure she’s in a supply closet somewhere with Mr. Cole; we have been designing their little getaway, but it takes a lot of magical energy, so we have been building it little by little. For now, she is stuck in the broom closet; I chuckle at the thought as I shove a fry in my mouth and flip the page of the book I'm reading.
“Hey!” Iris comes walking up to us with the biggest smile on her face, her hair a mess.
“You should probably comb your hair after one of your bang sessions.” She laughs and takes a seat between us.
“Have you seen that Afro? And I already told you we aren’t banging.” I frown, patting my big fluffy curls.
“You expect me to believe a red-blooded wolf is just meeting you to make out?”
“Well, he’s certainly kissing a lot of places.” She says, grabbing a fry. I roll my eye, pretending to gag.
“Okay next topic...”
“Hey.” The hairs on the back of my neck stand up
Xavier Her scent is so intoxicating whenever I’m near. I look down at her as she crouches down behind that bush and looks up and smiles when she sees me. “Elina...” “Funny seeing you here. Are you taking a walk too? Must be fate...” I exhale sharply. She really takes everything as a joke. “Elina…” “Don’t give me that look. I told you you’re cuter when you smile. Now help me up.” She reaches out her hands to me, and I take it a pull her pull up a little bit too hard because she falls into my send flying towards me. She crashes into my chest. “Ouch. Is your chest made of steel?” She asks, rubbing her forehead. I wince because I hurt her, which is something I never want to do. I reach out, feeling the urge to comfort her, and run her forehead. Her eyes meet might as I’m slowly massing it, and the deafening sounds of her heartbeat crash against my eardrums. My hands slide from her head down her cheeks and caress. “Luna*
Xavier As we get closer, that feeling of familiarity returns, and for some reason, I know where togo. “We can enter from the left side.” We run towards the entrance, which is a tunnel that leads to the cellar sealed with an iron door. I’m sure I have never been here, but this doorway says differently. It feels like I’ve been here before sneaking in. I
Elina “Ugh.” I groan as I struggle to climb the wall. I should have paid more attention when mom gave me teleportation lessons, but I ignored her because I believed I would never need to teleport. Man was I wrong; I had to borrow mom's teleportation talisman to get here earlier. I only have three uses and already used one, so I'm saving the other two in case of an emergency. I Groan, hanging on to the vine almost at the top. I know Xavier says he doesn’t want my help, but I can’t just go home while he confronts the man who murdered his father alone. Although his pack is with him, I still want to support him. I know I'm pathetic, but one day of dreaming isn't bad. Is it? Tomorrow, he'll be someone else's mate, but for tonight I want to be by his side. “Just for tonight,” I mumble as I arrive on top of the wall. I pause and peer out on the abandoned home. Something about it feels familiar, but I can't quite grasp what it is. The house is a mas
Xavier Elina doesn’t respond. She just glares at her. “We’re here to get your grandmother, but I guess you will do.” Her grandmother? I thought they were recruiting allies. “Elina, get behind me,” I command which for once she follows. “You’ll have to go through me first.” She chuckles as I scowl then snaps her finger. In an instance, we’re back in the room I was in earlier. “Master, I found him and a nice little surprise. Elina Sutherland, we can use her.”He looks over at us and smirks. “Well, what are you waiting for? Take her; I’ll deal with the boy.” “Stay away from her!” I snap as she approaches. “Move!” She commands, and with the flick of her wrist, she throats me across the room into the pile of broken furniture. “Run, Elina,” I shout, struggling to get up. “Why would I run? I'll be fine, Xavier. Don't worry .” She smiles, looking confident as she stares at the witch. “Hahahaha, You
My head spins as our kiss grows, deeper and deeper. I can't believe he's kissing me right now. The boy I have loved since I was eleven is finally holding me in his arms. I sigh as his hands explore my body. I reach up to run my hands through his brunette locks. We roll around on the bed and hot and heavy when suddenly everything begins to shake. We both open our eyes, lips still locked before he pulls away. “What was that?” He asks, looking around the room at the unfamiliar cabin. “
"Xavier! Wake up! Come on, wake up. You’re scaring me!!” I cover my face with my hands feeling helpless. I can heal his wounds, but I can’t remove the wolf and from his body. If mom were here, she would be able to save him. But I can't. "Xavier, please!" I begin to sob. “Are you always a cry baby?” A soft voice breaks through my crying. “Xavier.”I grab him and stuff my face in his chest while sobbing.
Four months ago Cassie squeezed her hands together nervously as she sat in the dark boot at Lenny’s and waited for her date to show up. It was her first time saying yes to someone from the dating app, and she was bubbling with nerves. What if she doesn't like her? Or what if she isn't her type? Or what if someone at her school was playing a joke? After all, she had used her picture and name, so it could be plausible that someone would know who she was and catfish her. Cass, however, hoped she is wrong, prayed tonight would go smoothly. Instead of one of the many ways she believed it would go wrong. Feeling anxious, She checked her watch for the third time. She had arrived fifteen minutes early, and only ten minutes had passed, so her date wasn’t late. Still, she couldn’t calm her nerves. And it only got worse when the five minutes passed and then another ten. Her date was now ten minutes late; she looked at the barely visible door and fumes. She had not thought of the possib
Today, we celebrate the coming of age of our next alpha, my nephew Xavier. As I step down from this role, I can genuinely say I have complete confidence he will be a fantastic leader. It has been amazing leading all of you over the last six years, and although the circumstance which brought on my leadership was tragic. I am proud of what we have accomplished together. Xavier, as you take on this role, one that is your birthright, know we all support you, and I will be here if you ever need me. To the alpha.” A chorus rings saying to the alpha. I look around the two hundred plus members of our pack meeting while the guest arrives for the party. I nod at my uncle as he talks to the elders of the pack. I should go and talk to them, but my mind is only on one person right now, El. I miss her, but I’ll see her soon if uncle ever stops talking. “Xavier! Xavier!” “Huh?” I look up, confused as everyone looks at me. “Do you have anything you want to say?” He asks, but
