Chapter 28

Xavier

Her scent is so intoxicating whenever I’m near.  I look down at her as she crouches down behind that bush and looks up and smiles when she sees me.

“Elina...”

“Funny seeing you here. Are you taking a walk too? Must be fate...” I exhale sharply. She really takes everything as a joke.

“Elina…”

“Don’t give me that look. I told you you’re cuter when you smile. Now help me up.” She reaches out her hands to me, and I take it a pull her pull up a little bit too hard because she falls into my send flying towards me. She crashes into my chest.

“Ouch. Is your chest made of steel?” She asks, rubbing her forehead. I wince because I hurt her, which is something I never want to do.  I reach out, feeling the urge to comfort her, and run her forehead. Her eyes meet might as I’m slowly massing it, and the deafening sounds of her heartbeat crash against my eardrums. My hands slide from her head down her cheeks and caress.

The story is very intoxicating but if you don't know English you cannot understand the grammatical jargon.
