Allison POV

It's been weeks since Rosita's untimely demise, to say it's been hard to cope without her was a understatement. Emily, Anastasia and I found comfort and solace in each other. And this week I was slowly finding my joy and feet back again.

"Allison, focus!" the head maid scolded, as usual. I just laughed it off, thinking that some things never change. I was clearing the fields with Matilda, since Maria had been absent for weeks.

It was odd, but I didn't want to concern myself with that right now. After finishing my task, I watered the garden, which Matilda had trimmed that morning. As I entered Master Romario's room, I couldn't help but smile a little.

He had suddenly become a source of comfort instead of fear. I knocked twice, and when I heard "come in," I entered. Romario's chiseled, tattooed chest flashed before my eyes, and I felt a flush rise to my cheeks.

"My face is up here, pet," Romario teased, chuckling at my embarrassment. He turned to select his suit for work
