Allie's POV

I tried stretching to a standing position but my leg wouldn't let me as I staggered continuously. I was horrified at the status of our relationship. We had done the most powerful thing that could lead to a breakup. I managed to walk over to the comfortable couch at the side of the office without staring at any of them. I hinged my hands on the couch to support me while I sat.

There was a long duration of silence. I know that naturally if I wasn't guilty, I was bound to accuse him but then, since I wasn't saying anything and he doesn't know about what I had done. Why wouldn't he speak?

I raised my sight to them to find the lady bowing her head apologetically and Austin's back to me. The situation has to be solved after all. I breathed out deeply and said, "You don't have to feel sorry that I caught you in the act, but can you excuse us?" I questioned, referring to the lady whom I guess is the secretary we had been waiting for.
