"I want to sell my company," I uttered.

Alex looked at me in shock. "Why?" He asked.

"I'm tired," I replied.

"But, didn't you work hard on it? I mean, it must've taken you like a decade to achieve this much. Why give up now?" He asked.

"I never did it for myself. I want to do something for myself at least once and I'm tired of all the bullshit that comes with running the business. Everyone's sticking their nose where they're not supposed to." I said.

"If you're going to sell it now, I don't think you can sell it for as much as it's worth, given what people found out about us," Alex said.

"I don't care anymore. I have more than enough in my bank account until retirement. I could sell it for a million and I'll still live." I replied.

Alex's face twisted in disgust and annoyance. "You sound like an absolute prick." He spat before attempting to get up.

I quickly grabbed his arm and pushed him back down on the bed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like that. I'm sorry." I apologized.
