POV Griffin
I've never felt so helpless in my life. My mate bond isn't working. I have no idea why. I couldn't sense Lilly at all. At first, we thought it was because Lilly was knocked out but now I'm not sure. It's alarming to say the least. I keep hoping that she's just knocked out longer since she's both werewolf and witch but Dad can't feel Rose either and that worries us both.
In a strange twist of fate, Lance the human is our only hope right now. The doctors were wrong about the werewolves waking before the humans. Whatever silver these assholes are using, it's potent.
"How could you have a contact with the Coven?" Dad demanded after Lance waved off the doctors and took a sip of water.
