POV Lilly
I was in a daze. I had no idea what was going on any longer. I remembered finishing with Curtis and then crying over Aunt Iris. Then Griffin picked me up and I just let go. I knew that he would keep me safe so I tuned out. When I came to, we were in a room in Evan's pack house sitting on a bed and Griffin was washing blood off my face with worry in his eyes.
He gently rubbed my face with the cloth, wringing the water and blood from it occasionally into a bowl on the nightstand.
